6 Levels from Survival Mode to God Mode

Writer: Patricia GomezPatricia Gomez

Have you ever felt stuck in life, like no matter how hard you try, things just don’t seem to change? Meanwhile, you see other people who seem to attract success, love, and abundance effortlessly, almost as if the universe is bending in their favor. The truth is, there are different levels of personal growth, self-improvement, and manifestation.

In this post, I’ll break down the six levels that take you from survival mode to god mode, where life flows effortlessly, and you attract what you desire with ease. Understanding these levels is key because if you don’t know where you are, you won’t know how to move forward. Let’s dive in.

If you’d rather watch the full breakdown, check out my YouTube video here:

level 0: survival mode (victim mindset)

At this level, you feel powerless. Life just happens to you, and you don’t believe you have any control over your circumstances. Your happiness, self-worth, and experiences are dictated by external forces—other people, your environment, your past.

A lot of people remain at this level their whole lives. They believe that if something bad happens, it’s because the world is unfair. If they’re unhappy, they blame other people, their job, or the economy. Everything feels out of their control, and because of that, they don’t take responsibility for their own growth.

This is the level where you’re simply reacting to life, not creating it. It’s like being a background character in a video game—you’re there, but you’re not the one playing.

where people get stuck: The biggest problem at this level is not realizing that you can move forward. If you believe you’re always going to be stuck, you will be. Some people spend their whole lives here, convinced that their situation will never change.

how do you move to the next level? You have to hit a breaking point. This might come from a toxic relationship, losing a job, or a deep feeling of frustration that makes you say, “I can’t live like this anymore.” Something shakes you awake, and suddenly, you realize you want more for yourself.

level 1: awakening (breaking the cycle)

At this level, you wake up. You start to realize that life doesn’t have to be this way. Maybe you read a book, watch a video, or hear something that shifts your perspective.

You begin questioning your old beliefs. You realize that you’ve been operating in autopilot, allowing life to control you instead of taking control of your life.

This is the phase where you start searching for answers. You might binge self-improvement content, look into manifestation, or start questioning the limiting beliefs you’ve held for years.

where people get stuck: Many people become addicted to learning without action. They keep reading and watching videos but never apply anything. They know they need to change, but they don’t actually change their habits.

how do you move to the next level? You have to start taking action. Learning is valuable, but nothing changes until you begin applying what you’ve learned. This is where discipline comes in.

level 2: discipline (taking action)

At this level, you realize that information alone isn’t enough—you have to do something with it. This is where you start developing discipline in different areas of your life.

• You stop just reading about healthy habits and actually start eating better.

• You stop just watching manifestation videos and start practicing affirmations.

• You stop just wishing for better relationships and start setting boundaries.

You begin proving to yourself that you have power over your reality. Your confidence grows because you’re seeing actual results from the effort you’re putting in.

where people get stuck: Many people think discipline is the final step, so they push harder and harder. Eventually, they burn out. They don’t realize that discipline is just a stepping stone, not the end goal.

how do you move to the next level? You have to listen to your energy. When you hit a plateau, it’s not because you need to do more—it’s because you need to shift your focus. This leads to the next level.

level 3: burnout and frustration (doing too much)

At this stage, you’re doing all the right things, but suddenly, the results stop coming. The methods that used to work aren’t working anymore. You feel drained, exhausted, and frustrated.

This is where you start wondering, “Why am I working so hard but not getting anywhere?”

where people get stuck: The mistake people make at this stage is thinking they need to push even harder. They force themselves to keep going when, in reality, what they need isn’t more action—it’s energetic alignment.

how do you move to the next level? You have to shift from effort to energy. It’s not about what you do—it’s about how you feel while doing it. This is where emotional and spiritual mastery come in.

level 4: emotional and spiritual mastery (the law of attraction)

Now, instead of just taking action, you focus on how you feel while taking action. You learn that emotions and energy matter.

This is where you begin working with the law of attraction. You start trusting your intuition, following your joy, and aligning your actions with your higher self.

where people get stuck: Many people fall into spiritual psychosis—over analyzing energy, fearing negative emotions, or getting lost in paranoia about good vs. bad energy.

how do you move to the next level? You need to integrate both your light and dark sides. Instead of fearing negative emotions or thoughts, you learn how to accept and transmute (transform) them into something powerful.

level 5: identity shifting (becoming the creator)

At this level, you realize that your identity creates your reality. It’s not just about taking action or managing emotions—it’s about who you believe you are at your core.

You step into the identity of the version of yourself that already has what you want. Instead of chasing success, love, or abundance, you become the kind of person who naturally attracts those things.

where people get stuck: If you haven’t built discipline and emotional mastery, it’s hard to fully embody a new identity because you keep falling back into old patterns.

how do you move to the next level? You fully commit to the new version of you. You stop second-guessing. You live as if everything you desire is already yours.

level 6: god mode (ultimate flow state)

This is the level where life becomes effortless. You don’t chase—you attract. Everything falls into place at the perfect time. You are in a constant state of flow, trusting yourself and the universe completely.

At this stage, you are unbothered by negativity, external circumstances, or other people’s opinions. You operate from a place of pure alignment.

where people get stuck: The mistake people make here is trying to force themselves to stay in god mode 100% of the time. It’s okay to flow between levels.

how do you sustain this level? By trusting the process. Even when you dip back into lower levels, you now have the awareness to move back into flow.
